Dr. Anne Hiss started rehabilitating wild animals in 1985. She received her degree in veterinary medicine in 1995 and has since donated her professional services to wildlife Dr. Davis Hall, owner of Town and Country Animal Hospital and Columbia Pike Animal Hospital, allows the use of his laboratory, surgical equipment, and radiology equipment free of charge for injured wildlife. Drs. Gerth and Sands at Town and Country Animal Hospital and Dr. Collada at Columbia Pike Animal Hospital donate their veterinary services to the care of injured wildlife.
Ms. Leslie Sturges director of Bat World Nova, a regional rescue center of Bat World Sanctuary, is planning to partner with the Babiga Fund to further wildlife rehabilitation and education. hiss Ms. Caroline Seitz, director of Reptiles Alive, an educational outreach program, aids in securing donations for the Babiga Fund.
A board certified veterinary surgeon, two board certified veterinary internists, a board certified veterinary dentist and two board certified ophthalmologists assist with difficult medical cases. These special veterinarians donate their professional services free of charge to injured wildlife.
